Daily routine and time

Telling the time
كَمِ السّاعَة؟ — what time is it? السّاعَةُ السّابِعَة — it is seven o'clock. في الصَّباح — in the morning. بَعْدَ الظُّهْر — in the afternoon. مَساءً — in the evening. Every time-of-day phrase in this topic attaches to an activity, which is what turns a list into a routine.
Sequencing words
أَوَّلًا — first. ثُمَّ — then. بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ — after that. أَخيرًا — finally. أَسْتَيْقِظُ في السّاعَةِ السّابِعَة، ثُمَّ أَتَناوَلُ الفَطور — I wake up at seven o'clock, then I eat breakfast. ثُمَّ (then) does more work than وَ (and): it shows one thing happens after another, not just alongside it.
A routine with times attached
أَذْهَبُ إِلى المَدْرَسَةِ في السّاعَةِ الثّامِنَة — I go to school at eight o'clock. أَعودُ إِلى البَيْتِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْر — I return home in the afternoon. أَنامُ في السّاعَةِ العاشِرَة مَساءً — I sleep at ten o'clock in the evening. Attaching a specific time to each activity is worth more than the activity alone, exactly as it is in the technology topic's frequency phrases.
Days of the week and a weekly pattern
يَوْمُ الاِثْنَيْن — Monday. يَوْمُ الجُمُعَة — Friday. في عُطْلَةِ نِهايَةِ الأُسْبوع — at the weekend. في أَيّامِ الأُسْبوعِ أَسْتَيْقِظُ باكِرًا، لَكِنْ في عُطْلَةِ نِهايَةِ الأُسْبوعِ أَنامُ مُتَأَخِّرًا — on weekdays I wake up early, but at the weekend I sleep late. Contrasting a weekday pattern with a weekend one, joined by لَكِنْ, shows range beyond one day described in isolation.
A routine, built up
WEAK: أَسْتَيْقِظُ، وَأَتَناوَلُ الفَطور، وَأَذْهَبُ إِلى المَدْرَسَة — I wake up, and I eat breakfast, and I go to school. A list joined only by وَ. STRONG: أَوَّلًا، أَسْتَيْقِظُ في السّاعَةِ السّابِعَة، ثُمَّ أَتَناوَلُ الفَطور، وَبَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَذْهَبُ إِلى المَدْرَسَةِ في السّاعَةِ الثّامِنَة — first, I wake up at seven o'clock, then I eat breakfast, and after that I go to school at eight o'clock. Same three facts, sequencing words and times added, and the answer now shows structure rather than a flat list.
Building your own routine answer
For any "describe your daily routine" prompt, take three steps. Attach a TIME to at least two activities. Join them with sequencing words — أَوَّلًا, ثُمَّ, بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ, أَخيرًا — rather than only وَ. Contrast a weekday with the weekend if the prompt allows it. Time and sequence are what turn a list of activities into a routine.
