Beyond a flat judgement
التَّلَوُّثُ سَيِّئٌ — pollution is bad. Everyone agrees, and the sentence earns little on its own. التَّلَوُّثُ يُسَبِّبُ أَمْراضًا لِلْإِنْسانِ وَالحَيَوان — pollution causes illnesses for people and animals. Naming an EFFECT, not just a judgement, is what moves the answer forward.
Naming problems and their causes
إِزالَةُ الغاباتِ — deforestation. تَغَيُّرُ المُناخِ — climate change. النِّفاياتُ البَلاسْتيكِيَّة — plastic waste. السَّيّاراتُ تُسَبِّبُ التَّلَوُّث — cars cause pollution. Pairing a problem with its cause, using تُسَبِّبُ (causes), is worth more than naming the problem alone.
What should be done
يَجِبُ أَنْ نُقَلِّلَ اسْتِخْدامَ البَلاسْتيك — we must reduce the use of plastic. يَجِبُ عَلَى الحُكوماتِ أَنْ تَحْمِيَ الغاباتِ — governments must protect the forests. يَجِبُ أَنْ combines with a verb to propose a solution, and naming WHO should act — individuals, governments, companies — is part of a full answer.
What you personally do
أُعيدُ تَدْويرَ الوَرَقِ وَالبَلاسْتيك — I recycle paper and plastic. أَسْتَخْدِمُ الدَّرّاجَةَ بَدَلًا مِنَ السَّيّارَة — I use a bicycle instead of a car. Moving from what GOVERNMENTS should do to what YOU personally do shows range, and it answers the "what can an individual do" question directly rather than only in general terms.
One problem, worked in full
PROBLEM: النِّفاياتُ البَلاسْتيكِيَّة — plastic waste. CAUSE: النَّاسُ يَسْتَخْدِمونَ أَكْياسًا بَلاسْتيكِيَّةً كَثيرًا — people use plastic bags a lot. EFFECT: هَذا يُؤَذّي الحَياةَ البَحْرِيَّة — this harms marine life. SOLUTION: يَجِبُ أَنْ نَسْتَخْدِمَ أَكْياسًا قابِلَةً لِإِعادَةِ الاِسْتِخْدام — we must use reusable bags. Problem, cause, effect, solution — four parts, and a full-mark answer moves through all four rather than stopping at the problem.
Building your own environment answer
For any "environment" prompt, take four steps. Name ONE specific problem, not a list. Give its cause with تُسَبِّبُ or a similar verb. State its effect. Propose a solution with يَجِبُ أَنْ, naming who should act. This structure works for any environmental topic the exam names.
