Our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

Who he was
Muhammad ﷺ was a man Allah chose. He taught people about Him. He lived a long time ago. He lived in a city called Makkah. People knew he was truthful. They knew he could be trusted. They knew it even before they followed him. They gave him a nickname: Al-Ameen. It means the trustworthy one. Say the nickname out loud. Say what it means too.
The words after his name
When Muslims say his name, they add some words. They say "sallallahu alayhi wa sallam". It means peace and blessings be upon him. It is often written as ﷺ. It is a way of showing love. It is a way of showing respect too. Practise saying it after his name today.
One kind thing
He was gentle with children. He would greet them. He would play with them. If he heard a baby cry, he made his prayer shorter. He did that so the mother would not worry. Think about how kind that is. When we are asked to be kind to little ones, we are following him. We are not just being told to behave.
Whenever you say his name, add ﷺ. Whenever you hear it, add ﷺ. You say ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam, 'may Allah bless him and grant him peace'. That is what you say for a prophet you love and follow. It is not what you say to Allah. It is not worship. Now name one thing he did that you could do this week. He smiled at people. He kept his promises. He was gentle with animals. Pick one and do it.
