What a parent can see

When accounts are linked, a parent can see path position and the last verse key. That is a household ledger, not live scholar booking and not a piety ranking. Personal rulings still belong with a local scholar.

How linking works, and what it does not show

A parent account is linked to a child account by invitation, and either side can see that the link exists. What a parent sees is deliberately narrow: the position in a study path and the last verse key opened. Not the text of a private note, not what was asked of the assistant, not a score against other children. The reasoning is that a reading habit survives being encouraged and rarely survives being audited, and a child who knows every reflection is read will stop writing honest ones.

Using it with a younger child

For a child too young for an account of their own, the whole public side works without one: the mushaf, a named translation, recitation, the duas, and the school lessons from Early Years upward. Sit with the surah they are learning, play the recitation, and use the word-by-word view to link a word they already know to one they do not. Accounts become useful later, when spaced hifz review and progress across devices start to matter.
